What's an edition?
An edition is a custom, tailor-made version of your profile where you select items however you want to save a specific version of your profile. You have complete control over what you choose.
Making an edition
To make an edition, scroll to the bottom of your profile to view the edition box. There, you'll be able to make an edition by clicking the "Create your first edition" button.
You won't be able to create any editions if your profile is empty. You'll need to add items to your profile first.
Making an edition.
Upon clicking the Create a new edition button, the edition banner will be activated at the bottom of your page. You can provide your edition a title here. Now, all your profile items (save for a few exceptions, seen here) will be selectable, indiciated by the checkbox appearing next to them. Choose whichever objects you like to combine and create specific editions for your goals.
Once you're done, you can click the
button to save your edition. (A title is required.) You can cancel editing at any time by pressing the button.
Editing editions
Your saved editions will appear in the edition box at the bottom of your profile page. Pressing the button opens the edition banner as before, with the currently selected items visible. Similar to before, selecting and deselecting, then saving with the
button will succesfully edit your edition.
Using Editions
An edition can be associated with a sharing link. To learn about how to make and use sharing links, see here.
The edition panel
Clicking on the
button opens the edition panel. Here you can edit your edition's title, add a description to refer to, and link/unlink your edition to currently active sharing links, that are otherwise unassigned. Ideally, you would edit a sharing link on the dedicated panel in a
Journal, but you can also do so here.
You can also delete created editions by pressing the delete
button. A confirmation dialog will appear, press the delete button again to confirm deletion.
