Sharing Links Basics
Use sharing links to effectively present yourself with total control: share your profile, media, and video profile. You can set expiry dates to links to control visibility.

Creating a link
When you create a journal, a sharing link will always be created with it. When creating a journal from a template, your link will be created with no expiry date, your full profile, and your default video profile (if there is one). Otherwise, when creating a journal from scratch, you get control of creating a link.

Here's what you can do when creating a link:
Link URL: Choose a custom URL for your link. If you don't choose a custom URL, a random one will be generated for you. You can't change this URL once created.
Edition: Choose which profile edition you want to share. Not selecting anything here shares your complete profile.
Video profile: Choose which video profile you want to share. Not selecting anything here shares your default video profile.
Expiry date: Set an expiry date for your link. After the expiry date, your link will no longer be accessible. If you don't set an expiry date, your link will never expire.
You can save your sharing link after choosing these options. Apart from these main options, you also have these optional settings for each sharing link:-
Additional link settings.
Show video profile Choose whether you want to show your video profile or not. This is selected by default, and will enable either the video profile you've associated with this link, or your primary video profile, if you haven't associated one.
Show avatar Choose whether you want to show your avatar or not. This option and the "Show video profile" option are mutually exclusive. If you choose to show your avatar, your video profile will not be shown.
Show primary email address Choose whether you want to show your primary email address or not. This option is not selected by default.
Show phone number Choose whether you want to show your phone number (if you've saved one) or not. This option is not selected by default.
Show languages Choose whether you want to show your saved languages or not. This option is not selected by default.
Contact after expired Allow viewers to message you if they access your link after its expired. Your edition/video itself will not be visible, but a message box that goes to you will be.
