Attach files to your profile
Make your Novel profile dynamic — adding files and media as evidence of your abilities will give your targets and prospects contextual insights on your value.
The file uploader.
To add files, there are two main methods:
Uploading files directly to existing items (such as experience, projects, etc.) on your profile, by pressing the upload icon upon hovering over the desired item, (or opening the actions menu on mobile).
Adding files manually through your files page. You can access your files page by clicking the icon in the sidebar, or by navigating to
/filesin your browser.
Files you can upload
You can upload a number of files of multiple types, ranging from images, media, videos, or audio (you can optionally record audio directly while uploading to give an audio description of an item).
Note that the maximum file size is 50MB, and you can upload up to 3 files at a time.
Managing uploaded files
Files you have already uploaded are available for easy association with profile items, again by opening the profile properties panel, by clicking the icon upon hovering over the desired item, (or opening the actions menu on mobile). Simply click the link icon
adjacent to your desired file. You can unlink files the same way.
